PostSubject: Jewelery Crafting   Sat 18 Jun 2011, 9:44 am

This is a thread I decided to make because a lot of people get into drafting jewelery.
My current project(s):
1. Revival of the Broken Gems: My Pomeranian chewed up my newly purchased, hand made Azure Stone bracelet the other day, so my mom and I are fixated into making it into another bracelet and also a necklace. We are buying the parts for the necklace now.
2. The Jewel Keys: I recently discovered the keys they sell at WalMart that you can unscrew to equip beads to it. Each key costs $5.00, and every packet of jewels (only about six jewels per packet) are $5.00 a piece. The wire strand to put the keys on has an unknown price. However, I plan on buying tons of keys (about around 20 or more) and different beads for each one! (According to my calculations, it will be a total of $200.00 if I were to buy 20 keys and a packet of beads per each.)

I'd like to know what you do when crafting jewelery! ;D
It's interesting to see what other people like!

I take items I have around the house and turn it into jewlery. (: I took an old chain, and old earrings, and hooked them together to make a necklace. Ill get a picture up later. And I used guitar strings to make a bracelet. (:

I prefer crafting with colorful gems and jewels. That's so female of me. lol
My birthstone is Opal...but before the Zodiacs changed, it was Topaz, and I still like Topaz.
